Creekside Worship Team

The mission of the worship team is to facilitate our members coming before the one true God to worship him. There are many ways and styles in which to accomplish this and we understand there are many different styles of worship music. Our style is contemporary Christian worship music with the occasional traditional hymn mixed in.

A typical worship section will include energetic songs to get you standing and perhaps boogying a little, to powerful ballads for pondering and for ministry times. We strive for excellence so as to not hinder you coming before the Lord.

The leaders for the worship team are George Willis & Ralph Endriss and the volunteers are:

Sound Engineering Ministry Team

The Sound Engineering Ministry supports all aspects of sound reinforcement for Sunday services, and worship rehearsals as well as special events. Among our tasks are setting up and striking mics and inputs for various instrumentations and vocals, mixing monitor and house mixes, and recording messages. Members of the Sound Engineering team usually have a background of audio and sound reinforcement. Training is provided.

Multi-Media Ministry Team

We are the team who each Sunday displays the words to sing during worship, the fun videos and slideshows of Creekside events, and the notes for Pastor Terry's messages. The team members are trained on the software and equipment necessary and we rotate ministry assignment through the month to serve both Sunday services in the "Sanctuasiam", and/or for special events. Our team schedule is available on the Creekside intranet and each team member is sent invitations and reminders of their scheduled ministry service. Holy Grounds

Holy Grounds is a unique and fun ministry that services coffee-house style beverages before and after each service and all proceeds go to missions and other special occasions. The Holy Grounds staff is trained by real baristas so if you love the aroma of great coffee and enjoy meeting people, this is the ministry for you. The volunteers for this ministries are Vicki Anselmo, Heather Converse, Mary Gabriel and Bernadette Haight. Hospitality

The Hospitality Ministry serves coffee and doughnut holes every Sunday at 8:30 AM, between services, and after second service in Room 7. We are a welcoming committee for new comers as well as regular attendees. The volunteers currently serving in the Hospitality Team are:

Ushers & Greeters

Greeting is thee most important ministry at the Creekside because new people will see us WAY before they hear the worship music or Pastor Terry. Being a greeter is the most fun ministry to be in because we get to meet everyone as they come through the gate of Creekside and show them what a great Church we are. Hugging, high-fiving and laughing are the best part of the ministry. Plus we get to hand out free things, such as first-timer gifts and tickets for free coffee from Holy Grounds. Our favorite piece of being a greeter is getting to help people. We also have inside information on the service for that day since we get to be partially responsible for service running smoothly. If you love to laugh and you love people, Greeting is definitely the ministry for you.
